Questions About Open Enrollment for Health Insurance? Ask a Guide.

A smiling family in winter, with a message about open enrollment for health insurance and free assistance options.

Finding affordable health insurance can be tricky. Fortunately, the Tri-County Health Network has a team of Health Coverage Guides who can direct individuals and families to low cost or no cost options during the open enrollment period that runs from November 1 through January 15.

Depending on your circumstances and income level, those options might include Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Children’s Health Plan Plus (CHP+), and Connect for Health Colorado, the  state’s health insurance marketplace. Another option called Omni Salud is designed to help people who are undocumented. There are a limited number of slots available in that program, so November is a great time to ask about that.

To find a plan and get help with enrolling, schedule an appointment with a Health Coverage Guide by calling Tri-County Health Network at 970-708-7096 or email them at enrollment@tchnetwork.org.
